Sushi Zen has been a landmark in Manhattan for years. M-S and I really like to eat good food, see a show, and walk around and soak in the people and the city:
We both really liked MoMA:
We had lunch at The Modern, which is listed as one of the BEST restaurants in America:
The presentation of this amazing lunch was gorgeous:
And delicious.
More walking around:
I lit a candle for my mom at St. Patrick's Cathedral:
I didn't take pictures of the church because it is covered in scaffolding inside and out. We had dinner before the show at a wonderful Italian place. Classic beauty:
I took pictures of the appetizers - they were beautiful. Mine had very thin raw tuna:
Every time I get after dinner coffee with the "little spoon" I hear the theme from the Godfather:
This is the ceiling of the theatre:
The stage before the show:
More walking around:
Seinfeld moment:
A march for Parkinson's in Central Park:
Southern brunch at Bobby Flay's Bar Americain:
We both loved visiting the NY Public Library:
They had a huge and wonderful exhibit on children's literature. There were hundreds of old books and artifacts - including the original stuffed animals that inspired Winnie-the-Pooh:
November, 1960 edition:
We also took the train to Long Island for a quick visit with Alex and Allysa:
We really had a great time - can't wait to get back on the road with M-S soon!
